Fotoaparat \u03b17 III (model s tovarni\u0161ko oznako ILCE-7M3) prina\u0161a novo razvito slikovno tipalo polnega formata Exmor R\u2122 CMOS-senzor z lo\u010dljivostjo 24,2 milijona to\u010dk in osvetlitvijo od zadaj ter naprednim slikovnim procesiranjem. Novinec nudi \u0161irok razpon ob\u010dutljivosti ISO 100 &#8211; 51.200 (raz\u0161irljiv do ISO 50 &#8211; 204800 za fotografije) in dinami\u010dni razpon 15 zaslonk pri nizkih ob\u010dutljivostih. Premore tudi vrhunski sistem samodejnega ostrenja s 693 ostritvenimi to\u010dkami s faznim zaznavanjem, ki pokrivajo 93% povr\u0161ine slike, 425 to\u010dkami s kontrastnim zaznavanjem ter hitrim in zanesljivim samodejnim ostrenjem z o\u010desom (Eye AF).
