Najprej so splavili zmogljive namizne procesorje Ryzen, za konec leta napovedujejo zelo konkuren\u010dne mobilne procesorje, vmes pa smo na pragu vstopa v vro\u010de poletje dobili \u0161e stre\u017eni\u0161ke procesorje EPYC. In ti so res nekaj posebnega. Zastavono\u0161a dru\u017eine je model EPYC 7601 se lahko pohvali s kar 32 jedri Zen, ta pa lahko obdelujejo 64 niti ukazov hkrati. Jedra delujejo z delovnim taktom 2,2 GHz, ki se v primeru, da procesor ni polno obremenjen, dvigne do 3,2 GHz. Impresivna je tudi termalna ovojnica procesorja, ki je postavljena pri vsega 180W, kar je za 32-jedrnika zgleden dose\u017eek, ki pri\u010da o tem, kako energijsko u\u010dinkovit je sam procesor. Ob uporabi pomnilni\u0161kih modulov zmogljivosti 128 GB lahko posamezen procesor upravlja s kar 2 TB pomnilnika, \u010desar bodo izredno vesele najrazli\u010dnej\u0161e aplikacije s podro\u010dja analitike in ra\u010dunalni\u0161tva v pomnilniku. Procesor podpira najrazli\u010dnej\u0161e vrste pomnilnika, ve\u010dina proizvajalcev plo\u0161\u010d pa se bo odlo\u010dila za uporabo hitrega in cenovno dostopnega pomnilnika DDR4 (do 2667 MHz).
