Zakaj je ne bi izkoristili tudi v svetu ra\u010dunalni\u0161tva? Uporablja arhitekturo RISC-V, meri vsega 3&#215;6 mm in predstavlja naslednji korak v evoluciji komunikacijskih tehnologij, ki uporabljajo opti\u010dna vlakna. Raziskovalci so namre\u010d uspeli izdelati mikroprocesor z vmesniki (I\/O), s katerimi zna sodelovati z drugimi \u010dipi.<\/p>\n<p>Opti\u010dna vlakna, za ta namen seveda miniaturizirana, prenesejo ve\u010d podatkov (in hitreje) kot bakreni vodniki. Procesor je ta hip 10- do 50-krat hitrej\u0161i od procesorjev, ki so danes na trgu, obenem pa je izredno var\u010den. Za prenos terabita podatkov v sekundi porabi le 1,3W. Njegova najve\u010dja prednost pa je v tem, da optika omogo\u010da obdelavo podatkov na bistveno ve\u010dji povr\u0161ini &#8211; mo\u010d ni nujno skoncentrirana na nekaj milimetrov, temve\u010d lahko govorimo o cm, metrih in celo kilometrih.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JAe_xQyFI4k\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JAe_xQyFI4k<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pod inovativni procesor so se podpisali: Vladimir Stojanovi\u0107, Krste Asanovi\u0107, Milo\u0161 Popovi\u0107, Chen Sun ter Rajeev Ram.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Skoraj vsi vemo, da je hitrost svetlobe nekaj najhitrej\u0161ega, kar poznamo Zemljani.
